This website consists, in effect, of a library of multiple embedded websites. The Urkesh website provides the overall frame, and is characterized by the mottled light beige backround. Within it, expanded treatments of selected topics are presented as Digital Monographs, which are autonomous units conceptually, if not formally, similar to independent websites. The UGR websites, on the other hand, are formally independent websites, accessed from the left sidebar of the section on the Record. Each one of these UGR websites is devoted to a digital book pertaining to a given excvation unit or other logical component of the Urkesh Global Reecord. They are characterized by two sidebars, red and black in color. |
